Accidents
As a Tempus Transport driver, it is your responsibility to drive safely at all times. This includes ensuring a safe following distance, and being aware of your surroundings. Most accidents can be avoided by a cautious and conscientious driver. However, in the event of an accident, drivers must do the following:
- Notify local authorities immediately (911)
- Assist injured persons
- Call Panther immediately
- Call the Tempus Transport Driver Hotline (888-390-7099) immediately
- Remain calm and in control
- Never admit fault
- Never talk to media
- Take guidance from law enforcement
Failure to Report Accidents Policy:
All accidents, injuries, spills, leaks, or other incidents not listed, vehicular/non-vehicular, major, minor or alleged, regardless of location, situation or fault, must be reported to Panther and Tempus Transport Driver Hotline immediately.
