You Have a Stop Off

Stop Off

Stop offs are paid when there is more than one pick-up or delivery on a load. Any stop off paid by Panther on a pro is paid to the truck and split between the two drivers. Stop offs must be properly documented on the pro bill.

Example A: 1 pickup, 2 deliveries: You should have 2 pro bills, both with the same shipper name. Each pro bill should have a different consignee name. Write “stop # 1” in the upper-left corner of the pro bill that corresponds to your first delivery.

Example B: 2 pickups, 1 delivery: You should have 2 pro bills, both with the same consignee name. Each pro bill should have a different shipper name. Write “stop #1” in the upper-left corner of the pro bill that corresponds to your first shipper.

Be very diligent in recording your arrival and departure times on the pro bills (“time in” and “time out”). Write in the times as they occur.
